Our location, Fort Cochin is our metaphorical soul.
This is a world heritage township with an over 500 years old history. Stunning old Anglo-Dutch architecture dot its landscape. India’s finest boutique hotels and art galleries run here from heritage spaces reinvented for contemporary use.
Adjoining is the famed Jew Town/Mattanchery, home to the last few numbers of the Jewish people who made this harbour city their home several years ago. A stunning old bazaar that has India’s best antique stores and a bustling spice market are some other feathers in its crown.
And yes there’s Ayurveda and wellness on offer too.
The town has an unhurried, elegant vibe that attracts discerning, independent travellers from all over the world.
Over the past 6 years, the Kochi Muziris Biennale Art Event has become an inseparable part of Fort Cochin’s quaint yet dynamic artscape. The event brings the world’s art and design commune to congregate here every other year.
And in the years when the Biennale doesn’t happen, a lot other happens – food, music, culture, history, what not…
